Ji Lee is founder and accessory design director based in Philadelphia.
My creative approach is guided by visual curiosity and a deep interest in how human behavior and social interaction shape the way we live. I believe we are profoundly influenced by our environments—where and how we live—and that lifestyle‑driven products often become reflections of this relationship.
My process is much like carving a stone sculpture: choosing the right “stone,” or material, is essential. I begin with materials, rough out the initial direction, and gather visual references that help translate ideas into tactile forms. Every piece is engineered with intention, balancing functionality with purpose.
Sustainability is the backbone of my work. Well‑crafted, thoughtfully designed accessories can last for years, and when their aesthetics are timeless, simple, and beautiful, we’re more likely to keep them—reducing waste and minimizing landfill impact.
Consumers today understand the importance of responsible sourcing. Knowing where materials come from and how they are made is something I care deeply about. This way of creating not only shapes the products themselves but also helps guide a more conscious future. This way of Innovation will lead into successful outcome in the commercial marketplace.
